DETAILED PRESENTATION OF THE PROJECT

Hazai Bányák Zrt. is a company engaged in the nationwide sale of mineral raw materials and transport services. Its primary site, main revenue base, operational core and foundation is the sale of extracted finished products from the Galgagyörk I Andesite Quarry. Currently, the company measures materials intended for sale in a rudimentary way using a loading machine equipped with a bucket scale. This means that the onboard computer in the loader measures the loaded quantity during loading. The data are transferred to the weighbridge office on printed slips, based on which a handwritten delivery note is issued, and the data are then manually entered into an Excel spreadsheet. During invoicing, the data are manually extracted from this maintained spreadsheet.

Although the measurement and related administrative processes will be modernized, the company's core activity will remain unchanged. It will continue to sell and transport quarry products; however, digitalization will make the weighing and administrative processes of goods dispatch easier. The development does not affect the types of products or the steps of the sales process; it will only make the dispatch process faster and more precise, requiring less manual intervention.

Thanks to the innovation, a modern weighbridge system providing a comprehensive, complex service will be installed. Data will be transmitted directly from the scale sensors to the computer of the colleague in the weighbridge office, where the weight data (empty – tare – full) can be verified. During measurement, the data will already be in a closed system and will automatically be integrated into the invoicing software. The advantage of the innovation is that the process will become faster and more accurate, and the measured data will not be lost or distorted during digitalization.

From an operational perspective, a further significant advantage is faster customer service, shorter delivery lead times, and greater available transport capacity. On-site, Hazai Bányák Zrt. will also be able to administer purchased finished products from the manufacturer more accurately against each other. Weighbridge measurements upon vehicle entry and exit ensure precise shipment weight data, which are immediately transferred to the administrative system in a digitalized manner. The new process will not only be faster but will also reduce the likelihood of errors and enable automatic record-keeping, invoicing, and data verification. The result will be a more efficient system with fewer errors and less administration, more accurate data records, and faster service.

Our additional goal is to obtain Industry 4.0 certification and introduce ISO standards, in which the implementation of this project plays an important role. With the acquired equipment, the modernization of weighing processes will be realized, which should be widely communicated to both current and prospective customers. As a result of the modernization, the company will be able to provide an even higher level of service, representing a competitive advantage. This quality improvement should be emphasized in communications, highlighting the benefits for partners of operating a more precise and efficient service process.

The procurement of the new weighbridge also provides an opportunity to strengthen the company's professional reputation. By presenting the new equipment in communications, the company can position itself as a credible service provider in the market and increase the satisfaction of existing partners and clients by communicating that it continuously develops its services.

The company currently does not have a corporate brand identity manual. Through marketing innovation consultancy activities, a brand identity manual will be created in connection with the modernized goods reception and dispatch process, as we plan to communicate the competitive advantage gained from the equipment acquisition through appropriate marketing messages. Marketing appearances developed and regulated by a marketing expert will strengthen the company's professional reputation and convey through proper messaging that the company works with the most modern technologies. Pre-planned website and social media communication will help familiarize customers with the efficiency of the more advanced technology.

The new marketing activities will be regulated by a brand identity manual, serving as a kind of "recipe book" that helps the company prepare all its communication materials according to the same principles, thereby strengthening brand awareness and credibility. It will provide a unified framework for all corporate communication and marketing materials, defining colors, fonts, logo usage, and other visual elements. By developing the corporate brand identity manual, the company aims to achieve a unified and consistent appearance, a professional impression, more efficient workflows, cost savings, improved communication, increased customer retention, and a stronger and more flexible brand-building process.
